What if you've been trying to solve the wrong problem?
Everything doesn't
get better until you do.
Not everything needs a five-year plan.
Some things need a decision.
Let's rule something out.
You've already read the books.
You've already watched the videos.
You've Googled it.
Asked people you trust.
Made the list.
Thought about timing.
Considered what could go wrong.
Considered what everybody else might think.
Waited to see if you'd feel more certain.
And somehow you're still thinking about the same damn thing.
At some point, more information stops being useful.
You're not confused because you haven't thought about it enough.
You may have thought about it too much.
You don't need another answer.
You need to trust yourself with a decision.
You know which one is yours.
There's probably one sentence here that hits a little too hard.

“I can make million-dollar decisions at work and somehow can't make this one.”

“I keep waiting for something to happen that will make the decision obvious.”

“I know what this is costing me. I'm still not deciding.”

“If I'm being completely truthful, I made the decision months ago. I just haven't acted like it.”

“I'm tired of having the same conversation with myself.”
Indecision isn't neutral.
Not deciding is still a decision.
- Time.
- Attention.
- Energy.
- Opportunity.
- Sometimes money.
- Sometimes years.
And every time the question comes back around, you pay for it again.
That doesn't mean you should make reckless decisions just to prove you can.
It means some decisions eventually become more expensive to keep avoiding than they are to make.
How much longer do you want to pay for this one?

What if you stopped trying to become certain?
Because I'm not going to promise you certainty.
I can't tell you exactly what happens after you make the decision. Nobody can.
But we can look at what you're actually deciding, what has kept you circling it, what you're trying to protect, and what you're willing to choose now.

What if the decision is simpler than everything you've built around it?

What if being capable of handling the consequences matters more than predicting all of them?

What if you don't need permission, consensus or one more sign?

What if you left knowing exactly what your next move is?
That's what we're doing inside The Build.
And yes, it's private.
Your business stays your business.

You can show up, listen, work privately and leave with what you came for.
You do not have to perform your growth for it to count.

Why this is The Build
Your life is built from decisions.
A Billion Dollar Life isn't about having a billion dollars.
A billion is the standard. Not the number.
It's the standard from which you decide what gets your time, your money, your energy, your yes, your no, and your life.
No two Billion Dollar Lives look the same.
But none of them are built by default.
This one is about the decision in front of you.

Why I'm teaching this
I spent years believing I needed more discipline.
I didn't.
I knew what to do. That was almost never the problem.
I could lead people. Solve problems. Handle complicated shit. Make things happen.
And still negotiate with myself about things in my own life that I already knew needed to change.
Eventually I became much more interested in one question:
What happens between knowing and doing?
Because that's where we lose years.
Not because we're stupid. Not because we're incapable.
Because knowing something and being willing to build your life around what you know are two very different things.
That's the work I do now.
And on August 27, that's the work we're doing together.
This is a working session.
Don't come to take notes.
Come with a decision.

Put the real decision on the table
Not the respectable version. Not the version that's easier to explain. The actual decision.

Look at what's making it so expensive to decide
What are you protecting? What are you trying to guarantee? Who are you trying not to disappoint? What would choosing actually require?

Get rid of the bullshit variables
Other people's opinions. Imaginary future scenarios. Rules you never consciously chose. The need to know exactly how everything turns out.

Make a decision you can respect
Not necessarily the easiest one. Not necessarily the safest one. Yours.

Decide what happens next
Because a decision without movement is just another thought.
You may leave having made the decision.
You may leave realizing you need one specific piece of information before you can.
You may even realize the decision isn't what you thought it was.
But you should not leave with the same pile of mental noise you walked in with.
August: Be the Drama
Stop waiting for the plot twist.
Become it.
We're very good at waiting for something to happen.
The offer.
The opportunity.
The sign.
The right time.
The other person to change.
The moment we finally feel ready.
Sometimes the plot twist is much less dramatic.
You decide.
You send the email.
You say no.
You ask.
You leave.
You begin.
You stop.
You choose.
And suddenly the story has somewhere new to go.
Be the drama.
One night. One decision.
You can think about it
for another month.
